2. Booking

• Bookings can be made via the website, booking platforms (Booking.com, etc.) or by contacting the property directly by phone or email.
• A booking is confirmed upon receipt of written confirmation from the property or the booking platform used.
• The guest is responsible for the accuracy of all data provided at the time of booking (name, number of guests, stay dates).
• In the case of group bookings, the person making the booking is responsible for all guests listed.

3. Check-in and Check-out

• Check-in: available 24/7 via self check-in. Access instructions are sent to guests before arrival.
• Check-out: by 11:00 am on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed with the property.
• Early check-in or late check-out must be arranged in advance; availability will be assessed by the property.
• At check-in, all guests must present a valid identity document (ID card or passport) for mandatory public security registration (Italian law, art. 109 T.U.L.P.S.).

4. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation conditions vary depending on the platform through which the booking was made.
• For direct bookings, free cancellation is allowed up to 48 hours before the scheduled arrival date.
• In the event of late cancellation (less than 48 hours before arrival) or no-show, a penalty equal to the cost of the first night may be charged.
• In exceptional and documented circumstances (medical emergencies, natural disasters), the property will evaluate alternative solutions on a case-by-case basis.

5. Prices and Payment

• Prices displayed on the website and booking platforms are inclusive of VAT and refer to the cost per night per room.
• The City of Cagliari tourist tax, where applicable, may be requested separately at check-in.
• Accepted payment methods: credit/debit card, bank transfer, cash (within legal limits).
• For bookings made via Booking.com or other OTAs, the respective platform's payment conditions apply.

6. Number of Guests

• The maximum number of guests per room is stated in each room's description. Exceeding the declared number is not permitted.
• For stays with additional guests beyond those booked, prior authorisation from the property is required.
• All guests must comply with the property's house rules.

7. Pets

• Cagliari Essence welcomes small and medium-sized pets. Please notify us at the time of booking.
• Guests with pets are responsible for any damage caused by their animals to the property or third parties.
• Pets must not be left unattended in the room.

8. House Rules

• Quiet hours: from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am, maximum quiet is required out of respect for other guests and residents.
• No smoking: the property is strictly non-smoking in all indoor areas. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.
• Cleanliness: guests are asked to keep their room tidy and to respect shared spaces.
• Waste: correct waste sorting in the designated recycling bins is required.
• Access: unregistered persons are not permitted in the private areas of the property without prior authorisation.

9. Liability and Damages

• Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property, furniture, equipment or third-party belongings during their stay.
• The property reserves the right to charge the cost of any damage caused by guests.
• Cagliari Essence accepts no liability for theft, loss or damage to guests' personal belongings within the property, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence by the manager.
• The property is not liable for service disruptions caused by force majeure (power or water outages, severe weather events, etc.).

10. Airport Shuttle Service

• Airport transfer service is available on request, subject to availability.
• The cost of the shuttle service, where applicable, will be communicated to the guest in advance.
• Shuttle bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

11. Amendments

Cagliari Essence reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect from the date of publication on the website. Confirmed bookings will be governed by the terms in force at the time of confirmation.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law. For any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution, the parties shall first seek an amicable solution. In the event of disagreement, the competent court is that of Cagliari, Italy.
